Do you want to make artichokes with a fantastic and delicious Italian recipe?
It’s simple and easy!
- 4 artichokes
- 10.71 oz of ground beef (50% beef and 50% pork)
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- 3 oz of finely chopped cooked ham (Prosciutto Cotto)
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
- 2 eggs
- a sprig of parsley
- 1 garlic clove
- extra virgin olive oil
- ground pepper
Preheat the oven a 392 F.
Put the mixed ground beef in a large bowl.
Add breadcrumbs, Parmigiano cheese, cooked ham, salt, ground pepper, finely chopped parsley, garlic and eggs.
Mix the ingredients.
MAKE THE ARTICHOKES
Fill a large bowl with water and lemon juice.
Remove the outer leaves and the hardest leaves from the base until you reach the tender heart of the artichoke.
Cut the tip of the artichoke to half height and also clean the base and the stem of the artichoke.
At this point, cut the artichoke in half.
Soak in the bowl with water and lemon and clean all the other artichokes.
Spread the filling between the leaves.
Put 4 tablespoons of extra virgin oil in a baking dish and arrange the artichokes.
Pour 100 ml of water into the baking dish and cover it with aluminum foil.
Bake at 392 F for about 45 minutes.
